Many homeowners are very happy living in their current home and renovating it can boost the value and be extremely cost effective.
Con’s – Improve
The down side to renovating? Renovations can be disruptive to your day to day life, and major changes like a loft conversion or an extension could lead to a few months of disruption. Plus any work in your kitchen, may leave you without cooking facilities for a while.
However, on balance it would seem that many millions of homeowners are opting for the renovating rather than the moving option as they consider the investment is safer in the current climate.
